What is a cookie?

A cookie is a very small text file that a website stores in the browser of the person visiting it. It allows the page to remember information about the visit, such as the language you selected, and to work properly the next time you return. Cookies do not run programs or transmit viruses, and they cannot identify you personally unless you provide your details yourself.

Besides cookies, browsers offer other local storage systems that serve similar purposes. This policy tells you about both.

Who is responsible for this website

Any processing of personal data arising from the use of cookies is governed by Law 29/2021 of 28 October, qualified law on the protection of personal data, and by the remaining applicable Andorran legislation.

Which cookies this website uses

This website uses a very small number of cookies, all of them technical, meaning they are essential for the page to work and to remember your basic preferences. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, profiling cookies, or any system that tracks visitor behaviour.

First-party cookies

Name Owner Purpose Type Duration
pll_language First party Remembers the language you chose to browse the website in, so you do not have to select it on every visit. Technical (necessary) 1 year
wordpress_logged_in and wordpress_sec First party Keep the session open for people who log in to the content management system. They are only set if you identify yourself as a registered user. Technical (necessary) Until the session ends
wp-settings and wp-settings-time First party Store display preferences for the administration dashboard. They are only set if you identify yourself as a registered user. Technical (necessary) 1 year

The last two rows only affect the people who administer the website. If you are a visitor who does not log in to the content management system, the only cookie this site sets for you is the language one.

Third-party cookies

The contact page embeds a Google Maps map showing where we are. That map is served by Google and, when it loads, Google may set cookies from its own domains for its own purposes, over which ANDORGEST, S.L. has no control. If you do not visit the contact page, this content is not activated.

You can review how Google handles this information in its privacy policy and its cookie information.

There is no other third-party embedded content anywhere else on the website: no videos, no external fonts, no maps and no advertising pixels.

Other storage technologies

When any page loads, WordPress saves an entry called wpEmojiSettingsSupports in the browser’s session storage, used only to check whether the browser can display emoji. It contains no personal data and is deleted automatically when you close the tab.

How to accept, refuse or delete cookies

Because every cookie this site sets is technical and necessary for it to work, we do not ask for your prior consent to enable them. Even so, you can configure your browser to block or delete them whenever you wish. Please note that if you block the language cookie, the site may stop remembering your choice.

Most browsers also offer a private browsing mode that deletes cookies when you close the window.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when the cookies we use or the applicable legislation change. We recommend that you review it from time to time.
